doula
Providing full spectrum support for all reproductive journeys, lending physical and emotional support, presence, reassurance and information.
I recognize that there are diverse experiences for women throughout the stages of pregnancy, birth and the postpartum time. Being a mother of five, each of my pregnancies have brought me to understand new perspectives. As a doula, I wish to connect and understand my clients needs and support them in whatever ways are meaningful to their desired outcome.
It is very important to me to provide my clients with evidence based information allowing them to make the best and most informed choices for their pregnancy and birth. I am certified in the Slow Doula Method through Doula Training International and have additional experience with abortion and loss. Through my time with the Baltimore Doula Project I have become disciplined in recognizing my clients needs within the moment and empowering them to find their innate strength through times of challenge. The reward of being with you in your story and celebrating your goal is my main priority!
Being able to provide a sense of calm and reassurance for people surrounding me, especially during transitional times in their life is the foundation of my practice, because every outcome matters.
